Cwm Aur

Cwm Aur is an innovative new older persons’ scheme in Llanybydder built in partnership with Carmarthen County Council. It has flats for older people who want to live independently, in privacy and without help, but with a peace of mind. The site will be staffed 24-hours a day, seven days a week, by Gwalia Care and Support team and personal care can be provided for those who meet the Social Care Assessment criteria.

Cwm Aur will also offer accommodation for people suffering with dementia. They will be cared for by staff trained to provide the highest standard of dementia-specific care.

The buildings are designed with the latest energy saving features - so the bills will be very reasonable.

The scheme is due for completion in autumn 2010 but there is already a big demand for these flats - so don't delay your application. To apply fill in the Carmarthenshire Housing Choice Register Form.
